So I have a tip for you today that has literally changed my earring choices every day. Some of you may know this, but for those of you who don’t (like me until about a week or so ago), those plastic circles on your earring backs are supposed to pop off… This is where I was immediately headed to find a pair of my earrings and test this out. The plastic that I’m talking about is around the outside of the small silver/gold backing on your earring. It makes the back 2 times as big and honestly just has annoyed me for so long.
Sure enough. They pop right off. (With a bit of finger muscle.) This was a game changer for me–I have my ears pierced three times on each ear and it was so uncomfortable for me to wear backs that had those plastic backings around them because they would touch the other backs of my earrings.
All you need to do is place your earring back on a hard surface–I used my bathroom countertop–with the pointed part of the back down on the counter. Then use your thumb and pointer fingers on both hands to balance the earring and push straight down. Then–pop! That easy:) I took a video of it, but for some reason it won’t upload on here. I’ll keep working on it thought!
Hope you’re all off to a great start to your week:)
